Twin screw granulator is mainly used for filling, blending, modifying, adding, chlorinating, polypropylene and super absorbent resin processing of rubber, plastics and engineering resins.
Extrusion of degradable masterbatch, polyamide polycondensation, polyurethane addition polymerization; Granulation of carbon powder and magnetic powder, insulation materials of cables, sheath materials, low-smoke halogen-free flame-retardant PVC cable materials and preparation of various silane crosslinked materials, etc. The small ones are mainly used for scientific research and teaching.
The barrel and screw of the parallel twin-screw granulator are designed according to the principle of components and can be combined in different ways according to needs. It adopts electric heating and water cooling to automatically control the barrel temperature, and is equipped with forced feeding, vacuum exhaust and non-stop screen changing devices.
The twin-screw adopts variable frequency speed regulation, AC motor drive or DC speed regulation, and DC motor drive. The reducer and twin-screw transmission are located in the same box, with compact size. The safety coupling equipped with shear pin can protect the screw and gearbox from overload damage.
Working principle of twin-screw granulator: the material passes through the feed inlet, forms a block and rolls along the screw groove under the action of the rotating screw. Due to the shearing, compression and stirring of the screw, the material is further mixed and plasticized, and the temperature and pressure gradually rise to a high level, presenting a viscous flow state, and passing through the head under a certain pressure and temperature, finally obtaining the desired shape of the product.
